General Information
Thank you for visiting our website. We look forward to working with you to achieve excellent health care outcomes. It will be our privilege to be entrusted with your patients' care and we will endeavor to do so to the best of our abilities.
Referrals
We accept referrals regardless of a patient's health insurance status. Uninsured patients may have to pay for the initial consultation, with surgery performed at Osborne Park Hospital or Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital if required, without any out-of-pocket costs.
Extended hours are available for the convenience of patients with fulltime employment. Video teleconferences can be arranged to facilitate specialist consultation with patients from non-metropolitan areas (click here to check your eligibility).
If you have any enquiries or wish to refer a patient, please contact us by telephone, fax, e-mail or online. Urgent appointments are available on short notice if required, please emphasize this when you contact the practice so that we can organise a review within 1-2 days.
Current waiting period for appointments: 1-2 weeks.
When referring a patient, please provide copies of relevant investigations results, including PSA, MSU and UEC pathology, other specialists' letters or reports and remind patients to bring CD's or films of all previous radiological imaging.
Medicare
In general, this is a private practice and consultation fees are not fully covered by Medicare. Pensioners may be bulk billed on review visits at the specialists' discretion. If there are special circumstances, please advise the patient to discuss this with our friendly staff prior to the appointment.

If a procedure is required, uninsured patients may undergo surgery at Osborne Park Hospital or Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital without any out-of-pocket costs. The waiting periods to see a specialist in the rooms and have an operation are significantly shorter compared to public tertiary hospitals, and patients have the convenience of seeing the same urologist every time.
Patients with private health insurance may choose from one of our accredited hospitals, however the waiting periods may vary between hospitals depending on the procedure and the availability of operating sessions.
After Hours
If you wish to speak to a urologist after hours for an urgent referral or quick advice regarding a patient with a urological issue, we welcome your call. The specialist's mobile number and personal e-mail is provided to doctors only on request with 24-hour access. Our specialists have e-mails directed to their mobile phones, and are quick to respond. We trust you will use this service with discretion.
